Election night was full of surprises, but none more exciting for college football fans than to learn that CNN is staffed by distracted Redditors just like so many other corporations around the country.
On Tuesday night, CNN’s election coverage viewers expecting to see an updated electoral map instead were greeted with an image of Reddit’s college football imperialism map, updated after week 10.
“Oh, what’s this?” said an apparently surprised John King when looking at the map.
“Boy, can anyone catch Oregon?” He went on after having a moment to compose himself. “It’s still early, we’ll keep counting, but it looks like the Ducks are going take it,” King said before the graphic was replaced and normal election coverage resumed.
